I have installed a beko D/W it has a condensation strip, I didn’t known it had one in the package until after I installed the appliance, the customer has noticed. Is it vital. ( i.e. am I obliged to fit this part) john

    Re: Beko Dishwasher

the condensation strip is to prevent steam from damaging the kitchen work surface and all dishwasher use them. if the work surface is granite then its not necessary but if its wood it is. i would assume is my job to fit them if I install a dishwasher
if it was my job i would return and install it.

thanks for reply, but unless I read it wrong, this strip appeared to fit around the base of this machine !! Also there is a gap between machine and the work top of about half an inch.!! john

I’ve never seen a BSH integrated come without one.

Beko have just started including these thick foam strips which the customer is expected to fit on all four sides of the base I’m not sure why though I thought possibly to reduce noise ??

    Re: Beko Dishwasher

May be some confusion here, the BSH strip I was referring to is a thin metal strip that fits to the underside of the work top .
