Hi Helen: Has your partner checked to make sure the element is connected properly ? Does your partner have a Multimeter & know how to use it for continuity testing ? If so then the first thing to do would be check the continuity of the new element to make sure it’s not just a matter of a faulty new element (Not unheard of).

Re: Beko WM 5100w Not Heating

Engineers get alot of calls saying the machines not heating when actually it is.
What are your symptoms? Poor wash? Cold at end of cycle?

OK: With the machine OFF & UNPLUGGED, he needs to check the continuity of the wiring from the heater back to the control board & check any thermostats as well.
