    just a little question i changed the pump on my dishwasher and had a leak the clip i had was not fully stopping the leak , what is the best sealant to use if needed ????

    We don’t use sealant on hose clips but rather use the correct clip (Jubilee type as a rule) and tension correctly.

    but if you did have to because i have over tightend clip and caused slight kink in plastic pipe that rubber hose fits over ,, yea im a numpty :boops:

    Glue if you must then….take a trip to B & Q and buy a tube of Unibond or any suitable adhesive. We use Debor in the trade which is a bit like Evostik but far cheaper. You need to be over 21 to buy the stuff at B & Q mind you, and not look like a vagrant glue sniffer at the checkout. I get my Grandad to buy it for me on a Wednesday…….. 😈

    lol thanks for advice , i dont have a grandad to go for me so will have to chat up some old dear in there ,, very good reply made me chuckle 😆
