My machine is over-filling and leaking, and from my research so far, the most likely cause is gunk in the sump at the bottom of the drum and the pipe leading up to the pressure switch.

I can’t for the life of me see how to access the sump at the bottom of the drum. I’d really appreciate some pointers on how I can get to it. I’m normally so good at figuring out how things come apart !

    Thanks, in advance,

    Mike

    Mike,

Its not easy to DIY and for obvious liability reasons we are not obliged to be specific in these cases, I’m sorry 🙁

But as a clue…The whole front panel has to come off to access this little troublesome part…..Best of luck…But you really ought to consider getting one of our approved guys in you know…Not an expensive job either 🙂

Just go to repairs@ and fill in your request, and leave the hastle to us

    Martin,

I appreciate your help. The reason I came here is because I cannot afford to pay someone to do this job for me.

Anyway thanks for the hint, I got the front panel off, and sure enough the sump was full of gunk which I’ve now cleaned out. I’ve even managed to get the machine back together again without having any parts left over.

    Mike
