Hi Folks,
I need to order new hinges for this oven but the Rating plate is almost illegible. I can read the 12 digit service number which is 14 9638 015928. None of the suppliers seem to use this numbering so has any kind person got Sios or some other means of coming up with the Model number and the “other” 12 digit service number.

Re: Whirlpool Oven.
The number you have is the serial number. Oven was made in 1996 so it will be a model starting with AKP or AKZ
Look on the CDSL website and you should be able to match hinges for it.
IIRC there are 3 different types of hinges for these ovens, one type is for full size doors that are double glazed, one for full sized door triple glazed and the last is for the small oven in a double oven unit.
