I am having issues with a BEKO WM6167. It has worked fine since new up until about a week ago. When the washer stops now, the washing inside is still dripping wet. Believing that the drain system could be blocked, I stripped the drain system but all was fine, relativley clean and no blockages anywhere. I therefore suspected that the pimp might not be working properly so I re-assembled the machine and put it on a drain cycle to test the waste pump. Initially, all seemed fine and the pump was running ok. However, after about 15-20 seconds, the pump stopped and the water inlet valves activated, filling the machine back up with water. After a while, the water inlet valve closed and the waste pump started running again. This sequency of events recurred several time for the duration of the drain cycle, ending with the machine still full of water.
Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen?

Sorry. That should read “Pump” and NOT “Pimp” lol
