indesit washer

I have an indisit washing machine, (i don’t know the model but it is two years old) when on any washing cycle it will only go so far into the programme and stop, the selector dial then starts clicking round, while this is happening the power indicator light flickers on and off. I have tried resetting it but this makes no difference. Also if i go straight to the spin cycle, before the spin reaches full speed it cuts out and the selector clicks round as before. Help please.
