    How does this model meter it’s water intake? Been to one today which fills fine but faults after so long with a no fill error code.

    Hi Nigel,

    I assume you are getting a “U1” fault, if so it can be one of the following,

    The water supply is not turned on
    The machine is syphoning
    The spray arm is not in place
    Excessive foaming
    The Inlet Valve has failed
    The electronic controller has failed
    Rotor not fitted correctly

    The fill level is decided by the resistance of the rotor motor which has a magnet embedded into it and a hall sensor below the main motor, firstly check that the rotor motor is turning freely and that the contacts on the hall sensor are not corroded as these are the two common faults.

    Brill thanks John! Corroded plug connector contacts cleaned up and runs a treat (Every day is a school day!)
