Just been to fix this machine
Model 610 only 600 rpm spin !
One of four in holiday lets at a local pub.
Purchased new and still going strong, fitted a couple of door seals and solved a couple of drain problems but otherwise totally reliable.
Much prefer the newer machines they make me a lot more money 😀
I used to love these when I worked for Indesit back in the day.
The hardest repair was a timer, even the bearings were easy to replace.
Simple, reliable and cheap.
But these were made before the beancounters took over.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the L6 was the hot and cold fill machine and that used the electric pump, the L5 series ( cold fill only ) used the mechanical pump…. must have fitted hundreds of the things 😆
Some L5`s were hot and cold fill…..L5 V and the rarer L 8. Haven`t worked on one for 15 years. The 610 and Hirundo look a like used to suffer from blown timers but it is true that they were not too bad a machine.
