    Hi
I have been to the above machine and worked OK whilst I was there, the customer says that when she starts the machine and presses the start button the machine active light illuminates and will run for a while and then stops with the ready light illuminated but then if the start button is pressed it will work again for a while but will keep repeating this during the cycle. Any help would be appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Colin

Odd one there Colin. Can’t imagine it would continue thru the wash, rinse AND spin like that? Earth leak somewhere is first thought, dodgy wall socket, maybe?…dunno. 🙁

I think the door only locks when you press start, doesn’t it? Then the lights change. So I’m suggesting maybe lock is at fault.

Thanks for your replies on this, I called this afternoon and again never faulted for me. the customer said she did a heavy load yesterday and repeatedly failed about every 20-30 minutes and I now suspect the motor to be at fault as the insulation started at about 45meg but after 10 minutes changed to 9meg and have left the customer running the machine on a smaller load but due to the age I doubt that she will want the motor replaced.
