    Hi, I’m trying to fix my washer dryer. It’s a Neff v4380 and we’ve had an engineer out to fix it, but he’s having trouble sourcing the parts. I thought I’d have a go sourcing them myself.
    Tried downloading the manual, but i don’t read french or dutch :s

    It’s about 10 years old and I’ve got a couple of pictures which may help/hinder identification of what I need.

    but if it’s just the brushes, I can’t seem to find which ones. I also noticed that i might need a comm stick too. If you can give me advice or confirm whether I am on the right track, I’d be grateful.

    NB I’m a mech eng student so trying to go for the cheap option and liking the learning curve!

    All help appreciated.

    Part number 496876 which is the end frame that includes the motor brushes

    You don’t happen to know where I can get an english version of the manual at all do you?

    Just wanted to say Thank you very much to those who run this forum and those who help.
    I now have a working washer dryer!

    It wasn’t too difficult, just a bit fiddly replacing the end of the motor with the brushes, but for the sake of £60 I was willing to try to repair it myself rather than getting a brand new washer/dryer which is what was recommended by the engineer who came to fix it but his supplier “couldn’t get the part!” :s

    Again, thank you for your time and work helping us to DIY!
