    Been out to this and ended up bringing it into the workshop to see if there is anything I can do with it.
    Unit wont start and after maybe 30 secs or so it displays Err 7.
    Nothing obvious inside but no reference available to the error code.
    Any ideas please?

    Model AMW510/IX
    Service number – 8587 510 15792 37 0718 701331

    Error 7 is a humidity sensor error.

    Oh thanks for that John! Next question – any idea where the humidity sensor is? It’s a new microwave on me is this one. :-/
    Not pulled it to bits as yet either..

    I haven’t got a clue…..the parts listing does not show a humidity sensor but does show a couple of themostats so it might be one of them, I would assume if it is there it will be visible inside the cavity somewhere.
