My wife found that our creda cordialle oven wasn’t cooking and later found out that the fan was not turning and the element wasn’t heating up. There’s power to the oven as the internal light is on and the timer is on.

Does this oven have a fuse internally which may have gone or does it need a new element and fan motor. I can confirm that the fan isn’t sticking as I managed to turn it myself and it turns without sticking.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

when both element and fan have gone off the most likely problem is the clock is in auto mode

check the clock and make sure it is in manual mode

    Thanks for this Dave.

The fan is now rotating with the oven turned up full. However theirs no heat.

Do I assume the element has gone?

most ovens have a red light that goes out when oven reaches temperature. if this ligh is on then its the element if its off its possibly the thermostat

one of the other faults is burnt out wires

but in answer to your post 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} plus of the time its the element
