“The cooker went pop!” said my daughter. In doing so it took out the consumer unit fuse. Having replaced that fuse the small oven is now working OK but the main oven is not functioning at all*. We haven’t touched the timer/clock and the main element looks (visibly) OK. Any suggestions? Will the main oven have an internal fuse? Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

*No heating, no light, no fan

Have you set a time on the clock.

It does not have to be the correct time, but if a time is not set it will not work.

It should then work but will most likely not heat up.

It will be the fan element and you will need to replace it.

Update: Continuity test indicated that the bottom element was at fault. Replaced it with a new element (from UK Whitegoods) but still no heat, light or fan. The small oven is still working OK.
    😕
