Eh? You mean it gets through the program, enters the rinse phase and does one rinse then fails? Or does it fail on the first rinse?
If so that’s a new one on me for any machine unless HP have done something odd with the fill levels on rinse, which I doubt as they’re not exactly the hardest things in the world to suss out until they started firing in the electronic junk into them.
I really should get the tech info for the newer Hotpoints. I always reffered to them as, “washers designed by Fisher Price” and now Merloni have them I’m not going to repeat the comments on the newer ones. 😆

thanks guys we changed both boards on this m/c about two months ago when the door lock failed. so have not seen the fault only what cust reported will pop along on monday .m

Had one of these recently doing a similar thing. Turned out to be a dry joint on the board.

contacted cust they now say after rinse 1 m/c dies screen goes blank then up comes rinse 1again and again if you advance to spin it spins screen goes blank up comes spin again screen goes blank then spins again and again.m

Have a quick check of the ribbon cable between the boards while your there, i’ve had a couple pf these causing display problems.

check the tacho wires on motor they tend to chaff on housing
also check motor loom were it is cable tied to cabinet both common can can cause weird faults on pcb -
