My Indesit WD10 has been filling the drum with water even though the machine is powered off, seems to be a slow filling problem which causes it to reach the level of the door in ~2 days. I can empty it by selecting a spin cycle?

Any ideas why this might be happening or if its a common problem?

Check and change faulty fill valves

Cheers, I have taken out both the hot and cold solenoids.

What resistance should be on them…..I’ve no way of knowing whether the hot or cold one is bust!!

Put them back on and take the outlet hose (to the dispenser & condenser) off. Turn on stopcock and see which one is letting water pass. Usually it is the condenser valve (cold) that is the problem as a rule.
