AEG washerdryer model L 16820 message E10 before final spin

– shows E10 – water feed problem before the FINAL SPIN on most programs except, occasionally, the 30 degree wash.
The drum fills ok on ALL washes and mostly does several rinses (occasional exception is the very hot wash, which we use infrequently, which gave an E10 error at start of rinses)

Machine entry water filter and sump fluff filter are both clean.

I have order a new inlet valve from you (124972315) but before pulling things apart – is this likely to fix the problem?

Machine is 7 years old – no other problems
