Hi,
I have a Zanussi washer-dryer ZWD 1680 W. It stops during its cycle, once it has filled with water. I tried to run it through the programme to check draining, filling, spinning and I also opened the drain, cleaned it and tried to run a maintenance wash with some distilled white vinegar replacing detergent, in case there was just a build up of scum.
It fills with water and drains fine so maybe the problem’s with the motor?
There’s no ‘error code’ flashing up but once it’s filled with water it just pauses and does nothing else.
I’m happy to investigate further,despite being the ‘woman machine user’? But I’m not sure what I’m looking for, can you help me at all?Re: washing machine not spinning/washing
THIS would be a good place to start . Be sure to unplug from the mains first, if you do not feel up to checking the brushes then you could try our Find an engineer from the Search button on the home page.
