ParticipantMy bosch Hbn131150b has just lost power.
The screen/clocks are dead but I have checked the fuses and all are okay.
I heard a buzzing noise shortly before the power went. Can anyone offer any possible solution.
Thanks

a possible solution is that the timer unit has burnt out. i only say this now because on thursday i came across this fault on a bosch range cooker. the connections to the timer had overheated and broken the circuit.
if you do need a timer i think the part number for yours is 423978.June 23, 2013 at 6:42 am #396760Beds77

That’s great thanks for the reply.
Is there any way to check this out prior to me ordering parts?
Or is it possible to by-pass the unit to get the oven running until I can get the parts?
Thanks again for your time

Why not take a look at the timer? 💡

Thanks Martin. As I know nothing about this sort of thing your comment is as much use as a poke in the eye 🙂
really appreciate the reply but was wondering if I could test or by-pass the part to make sure it is that part required.
Quick update if anyone can help, the clock/timer has come back on intermittently with my Fonzie style thumping of the oven!

Bad connection (somewhere) then so time take a closer look I would suggest. Sorry about poking you in the eye but it is apparent from my remote location that that is an obvious next stage we in the trade would take based on the evidence so far. The symptoms so far suggest several potential things need checking that include the timer, the wall switch, the power lead connections and such like. We cannot speculate further and any more positively without intervention.
We also assume you have sufficient electrical knowledge, tools and test equipment to proceed. If not then check out a local independent repairer you can find here on this site through the engineer search facility.

Thanks Martin.
I have a little electrical know how but not really tackled ovens before!
I put pressure on the side of the timer unit and for a few minutes it all sprung back to life so I am convinced it is the culprit in this case. Going to remove some panels as I suspect a loose connection or faulty unit.
Once again I really appreiciate you comments and advice. Thanks
