    I have this Smeg Oven which i don’t know how to turn it off….it might sound dumb..but pls help

    What do you mean by turn it off? Also, what oven is it as there is a vast range of Smeg ovens?

    its AS 210X/1….what do u press to turn it off??

    I’m not familiar with that model off the top of my head but it looks like a standard oven, are you sure that the model number isn’t SE210X/1 as that makes more sense.

    If it is then simply turning the main function control knob to the off position (“O”), normally pointing the knob straight up towards the worksurface, should switch it off.

    If that is not working then you may well have a problem with the switch behind that and you’ll have to switch it off at the mains.

    does it take long for the this oven to cool down?

    Depends on the installation but the cooling fan running for up to an hour or so after use is not unheard of.

    There’s no such thing as a silly question (that’s why we’re here, right?) and we had to phone the supplier to find out how to switch it off. Try holding the far right hand button in for three seconds. That works on our model.
