Hello Everyone
I’m new to the site and could do with some advise on a bearing change for the indesit WM12X.
On this version there is a cross bolt X containing the bearings so I guess this can be unbolted by 8 screws to remove the bearing from the sealed metal drum. Parts are saying that I need 2 bearings and 1 oil seal is this correct? Is the process easy? do I need any special grease? Any help with this would be appreciated.

Challenging a better word. Do not get too physical with it try to remove the spider lest you dent the stainless tub. Watch out for the little wedge under one of the spider arms as that will need refitting. If the drum shaft is badly scored then it’s only good for the skip.

Regular high speed grease is fine.
