Neff dishwasher e17 fault

Neff S51M63XOGB/16 dishwasher intermittantly showing E17. Listed as water level too high / flow meter. Changed flow meter assy. but still doing it! Customer says she may get one good wash for every 3 or 4 failed ones.Any ideas ?
