Please can anyone help with a fault I’m having with a Fridgemaster MTBL140NG that’s not cooling.

The appliance is a fridge only (no freezer compartment).

It powers up OK, I can hear the condenser kick in when I turn the thermostat on and I can see the cooling fan working. While the condenser is running, it makes an occasional kind of clicking noise. I’ve electrically tested the windings and they are ok.

I’ve tested the start capacitor and it seems fine.

My gut feeling is that the condenser is faulty or that there is no coolant left but I’m not sure and another opinion would be great in case I’m condemning it when something far less radical is wrong with it.

    Thanks

Given you mention a clicking noise its sounds like the compressor has seized and its cutting out on its overload device. In a nutshell its not worth repair
