Hi, Just wondered if anyone has come across the display on this model showing 8888. Customer contacted me yesterday with the complaint. I called today and apparently the machine has been working since. I put on test and all seemed well. Switched off, tried again and nothing. Door locked, no display. After a few tries the display came back on with 8888 and door locked. Meggered the motor and there’s an insulation fault on both coils and armature. Does this display signify anything like a safety mode. Never seen it before.

Not so much a safety mode but more of a corruption of the PCB due to the motor fault I would think? I’ve not come across that before, it’s not an error code for sure!

Thanks for the quick response Martin. I did think it may be something like you say but was a bit stumped how the machine had started working again. I tried the machine with the motor disconnected but it made no difference.
