Hello there – can anyone help with a heat problem on a dryer. My customer complained that the dryer wasn’t heating and on inspection I found the coiled part on the heater had broken. Fitted a new heater and tested all ok…… Then a week later she had said that there is a slight heat coming from it but it won’t dry anything.

The condenser was clear last time and I left it working fine!! Any ideas before my return visit?? :rolls:

    Thanks

Its a new heater that I’ve just fitted, it’s heating up a little bit but seems to cut off for a while thens starts back up without really drying the clothes very well.
The new heater had a hole on the one stat so it’s possible it has tripped out but the why would it do that – it’s new.

Are there any other stats to check or might it be a pcb issue?
