Can anybody help with the reset code for this model please?
Last Nov we fitted a new heater and computer panel and managed to reset the dishwasher.
The machine is now displaying E09 error code again 🙁
We have fitted another new heater but it is still displaying E09 and we have been unable to find the reset programme again.
Anybody have any ideas as to why the heater would have stopped working again? And if it is likely that it is continuing to display the error code because we have been unable to reset the computer?
The machine is only just a little over four years old so any help would be most appreciated.
    thanks very much.

Are you sure the heater failed…have you tested it’s circuit?

If the heater is ok then as far as i’m aware there is no reset procedure for these, so the pcb is registering (rightly or wrongly) another fault i.e. the heater circuit (stats/ntc or wiring)…or the pcb itself is faulty.

    Thanks Clive.
When the heater was replaced last year we were advised that the fault may well be with the pcb which is why we replaced both(and the heater was indeed faulty.)
So with the new pcb everything had to be reset and the machine worked brilliantly.
So when the E09 error code showed up again we had assumed it was the same again. The current pcb looks fine (although I do still have the old one)but we cannot figure out why exactly the same fault would be registering again.
The machine is certainly not heating as it was even with the new heater fitted although it is marginally better than it was.
Really stumped as to what the problem is.

Man have you thrown serious money at this? 2 heat pumps and one power module must have set you back the thick end of £335….wow!

Less resilient ones amongst us would have given in at this point but if resolve is your quest you’ve come to the right place.

What you will need to do now is to measure the resistance of the heater coil on the heat pump. Measure across contacts 2-3 (should be 10.5ohms) 3-4 (again 10.5) and 2-4 (around 21ohms). Also check the connections back to the power module as any fluctuation in those resistance readings will result in the E:09 error.

    HTH? 😀

    Thanks for your reply.
Yes,loads of money 🙁 but husband is an engineer and hates to be defeated!
The plan is to get the machine outside again later(subject to the weather, kitchen is tiny) and check all the wiring again and the new heat pump.
We did manage to run the test programme which also threw up E24 and possibly E26 so will have to go through the drainage pump to make sure everything is clear.
Not sure if the E09 is still displaying as it was the last fault shown on the power module.
I will advise him of your suggestion which he may well have already done, and go from there. It is just most puzzling that it displays exactly the same fault as last year and the heater was not working then nor did it appear to be working on this occasion.
Which is why I wonder if there is another glaring fault that we are missing.

Thanks for your help Martin and Clive.
Result! 😀 Machine fixed and working well.
Tested the heater that was put in last year dead as a dodo 🙁
However upon checking all the wiring, discovered a connector that we had failed to reconnect for the new one.
The lessons learnt here 1) Don’t try and fix appliances when it is getting dark, you may miss something and 2) Don’t buy spares from ebay unless you are 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it is a genuine new part!
