ParticipantI have a IQ100 dishwasher that will not start. The control panel has the water tap and rinse aid lights flashing. I have checked the water supply and hose and filled the rinse aid reservoir. It will not reset and there is no error code illuminated. There is also a ‘ticking’ from the base front right hand side. I have also disconnected and reconnected the power supply. Can anyone help?
Thanks,

Sounds like it may be a Siemens, in which case what is the full Enr. (Model) number?

Have you ventured inside the machine and checked the base is not flooded, the drain pump, inlet matrix etc? Can I suggest you contact a local independent (see engineer search facility) if you need a more informed solution.

I will check that out. The machine is in France and I will be there next week. I was just looking to avoid having an expensive call out with possible language difficulties. Hoping that it would be a simple fix. Thanks anyway, Jim

“Oh mange tout Rodney…!” Well take your toolbox and delve inside, see what you reckon and let is know. Meanwhile I’ll brush up on my French! 😀

Looked inside and checked the pump which moves freely. No sign of blockages or flooding. White plastic electrical type box bottom right had side has ticking noise coming from it in time with flashing lights on control panel. Thinking the on / off switch is not working as the machine has to be unplugged to stop this. Any more clues? Jim
