The temperature in the fridge part of my Samsung American Fridge Freezer is going up and wont readjust. It is currently reading 17 degrees but feels cooler than that inside. I have switched it off and back on and no error lights come up. Food is going off so it is definitely not working properly. Any suggestions as to what I could do to rectify this?

In all honesty, it could be anything.

Is the freezer still reaching -18?C?

It is lower than that at -23. All frozen food is fine

The fridge fan motor will be iced up.

Get someone to look after your food and turn it off and leave the doors open for 48 hours.

When you turn it back on it will return to normal within 2 to 4 hours.

You will then need an engineer to repair it as the problem will return within a couple of months.
