    Guys,

Went to see a Zanussi ZDT6255 dishwasher yesterday with a no heat fault. When the machine was pulled out and the side opened the machine started to work, however back in position it failed again (this happened twice in total). The issue is that I could not detect the problem (which I’m sure would be quite easy to diagnose if it happened when the dishwasher was pulled out. My question is have any of you ever experienced this with any appliance and how did you do about testing it?

I did test it with the side and front access panels off while back under the unit -the same fault occured. It really didn’t help that temperatures were soaring and I had two young children figthing over a smartphone while the mother left them in the kitchen, I made a quick exit before my blood boiled stating I needed more time to diagnose. I’m due to go back on Thursday so any techniques for testing would be greatly appreciated.

Its normally a dry solder joint on the heater relay on the main PCB in the door the fact it worked when you pushed it back could just be a coincidence.
