Hi, I have got one of these machines to do that needs a new right hand side drum spring. I know I have done one in the past but can’t remember how I did it but I do remember it being a bit of a job.
Just wondered if anyone knew an easy way to get the new spring on/
    Cheers,

Unbolt dampers from cabinet. Thread a strong piece of nylon cord through the hook tab on the drum, the other end through a 2 foot long length of 2 by 1. Rotate the 2 by 1 whilst resting it across the top of the cabinet, keep rotating until the cord lifts the drum enough to simply hook the spring through the hole…..remove cord……viola!

(Often this is such a quick and easy process even without going to the trouble of unbolting the dampers. ) See “Tips & Tricks” thread in this forum by the way. 😉
