    Hi,

    I have a Logik LFC50S10 fridge freezer and there is a really strange noise coming from a white plastic rectangular box at the bottom left hand corner at the rear of the fridge freezer next to the compressor.

    The noise only occurs regularly but switches on and off presumably when it’s cooling the contents.

    It seems that the white box contains the power and numerous cables so it’s a bit of a concern.

    I have attached a pic of the noisy component.

    Defrost timer maybe?

    Is this something I could replace myself or is it better to leave this to the professionals?

    I can see they are about £30

    It works fine, just makes a noise like an idle diesel engine, which gets on my nerves 😀
