I have hardly used this machine and presume the motor has packed in. Someone checked it and said there is power to it. I took it out and fiddled with the connections (u never know) and the carbon brushes look long and not worn down. Is there anywhere I can exchange the motor rather than forking out for a whole new one? or at least get it tested. Everything else seems to go through the motions just not washing the clothes or spinning or even an attempt or smoke or anything. Is ther anything else I can check before spending stiupid money on a motor?
😕 My Indesit WG820 has the same problem. the engineer said it might be the motor packing up. Wanted to take it away, and test in his workshop. No doubt to ring me back and suggest it was the motor and did I want it back!
Then he gets to keep the machine for spares hmmmm.
