Hi – Would appreciate any help that can be offered!!!
The freezer is working fine. But the fridge is running at 0C despite it being set to 7C on the control panel. I can hear the compressor running all/most of the time.
Is this likely to be the thermistor??
I can see NTC sensor 00420667 shown on the Siemens site.
But I cant see where this fits and how easy is it to replace???
I am fairly competent (have done stuff like washing m/c bearings) – is this any easyish job or call a professional in???

    Thanks, Ian

I can now also see part 168766 shown on siemens site which is a NTC kit. Now confused which to order (if either)????
    Thanks.

    Hi Ian,
The 168766 probably contains the same NTC sensor, but also includes a replacement cap. I have just ordered the NTC 168766 for my Siemens freezer (GS28E422). The cap that is inlcuded in the 168766 looks just like the cap covering the small area containing the NTC in my freezer.
