The above dishwasher has developed a fault where it is not washing the dishes. It fills and drains and the tablet is still undisolved at the end of the cycle. There are no signs that there is any water circulation.
Searching the forum it seems there can be a fault where the circulation motor will run slowly and, having removed the motor today and tested it I suspect that this could be the case. However, the machine is 20 years old and a new circ. pump is £115.00.
I appreciate that without expert testing, it is difficult to say what the problem is, but, I would appreciate it if someone could advise if there are any other tests that I could do to confirm my suspcions, or if there are any other fault conditions that would prevent circulation.
