    Hi guys,

I am looking to convert my Hotpoint 95132 or 9510W into either a 95362 or 95360. I would need a dispenser front, fascia, rocker switch assembly, door handle assembly and original clear dial to achieve this. I was hoping maybe some of the more longer serving engineers might have some of this trim stashed? I also have a 9534A that I can readily convert to anything from a 95622 or 95492 to a 9530, 9540 or 9544 if I had the associated above parts.

    Regards, James.

Can I ask why ?? Most f those facias are obsolete. Shame really I started repairing those models back in the eighties when I was a fse for HOTPOINT

Because James is our resident, forum ‘washer geek’ and I am sure he won’t mind me saying that. 😆

He has an extensive, every changing collection of old washers and dryers and I can think of far worse things that a lot of young people get up to today than being a washer geek.

Both Martin and myself are ex Hotpoint engineers from the very early 70’s and cut our teeth on twin tubs and wringer machines as well as the 1600’s and 1850’s, well before the 9500 series came on the market. 😥 🙂

Sadly as Andy says the chances of finding such parts is highly unlikely. Apart from being obsolete none of those parts apart from the timer knob would be kept as stock, only ordered as needed therefore not much chance of anyone having any, unless they have old machines in to break up.

Definitely nothing wrong there for sure. Cut my teeth in the mid eighties on twin tubs and top loaders. Loved those machines. In those days hotpoint where a great company to work for

So you never had the pleasure of changing a Empress, Countess or Princess gearbox then? 😆

Saw one once lol. My favourite job for some strange reason was power units. Something you could really get you’re hands into I suppose

Its a 9534, totally original apart from a replacement white dial i think.?
Bit of surface rust etc but it works..

James lives in Ireland so I think a complete machine would not be much use to him, a few cosmetic bits and pieces may be a different matter though. 🙂
