Bit of a long shot, I have a Bosch Exxcel WF02465GB/01 in for repair. It’s a reconditioned machine I supplied about a year back and the PCB has gone down (Previous post). I only cover reconditioned machines with a 6 month guarantee so but I would still like to help my customer out as a good will gesture by repairing it, however I don’t have a PCB and they are very expensive to purchase new. I do however have a couple of Spanish Bosch machines locked away in my garage which all have tub issues. Was thinking about making one out of 2? Anybody know if this is a non starter?
    Thanks,
    Rob.

As it’s in the workshop and away from public reach, I have run the machine with all the heater wires disconnected and the earth connection removed from the motor. It makes no difference to the fault so im assuming the fault remains with the PCB. There is some earth leakage through the armature on the motor, The environment where the machine stood is the likely cause as it’s located in an out building which has had an ongoing leak causing a damp environment. I’m sure this will put the guarantee concerns to rest however I still feel that I would like to support my customer by managing some kind of repair even if it’s a case of making a machine up somehow (in a safe way of course)..

with the heater disconnected the machine will take longer as it is thinks the heater is working. you will get no fault code but the timing will keep dropping where it will stick at 1 min

was the heater working ok when its connected ?
