    Siwamat 6102 – WE16021GB/01

Keeps stopping with either 6 or 8 beeps. Carries on again if you press “start”.

Don’t have a manual as the machine came with the house.

Finding it really difficult to source a list of the beep codes, including from the Siemens site which claims my model doesn’t exist.

I don’t think any such list exists anyway so instead it’s time to take a look inside. Does it fill, tumble, drain, spin etc OK? When you press the start button does it actually complete the cycle OK and in the normal time period? Please give as much info as possible. 😀

It does all the actions you describe, but ‘stalls’ partway either the wash and rinse (typically a total of four or five times a load), beeping madly. Pressing the ‘start’ button makes it continue where it left off.

It’s a 12yr old machine, but has performed flawlessly for the last two years, up until this morning.

Time to look closely at the pump then. I’m thinking the Impellor is loose with plenty of end float (side to side)…..?

If it’s the pump, why does it beep when washing or rinsing, rather than when pumping out?

Why did the chicken cross the road? I cannot answer either question but from my vast experience with all things Siemens can only suggest you make a start by checking the pump out. The pump is the thing that wears out pretty quickly in the grand scheme of things and a possible reason as to why it is randomly stopping……OK?
