I have had 3 MIELE fridges fail. All under 6 years old. One (14 months old) was a stat, one (16 months old) could not be fixed and was replaced by Miele, and one (5.5 years old and just six months out of warranty) has an estimated repair cost of
£ 330.00!😕 I made the mistake of putting Miele products in my properties as I thought they were reliable and worth the extra money!

Miele products in general are of a very good quality and on the whole more reliable than most Carlight.
There are of course exceptions to the rule and you appear to have been most unlucky on this occasion.
Have you contacted Miele customer services for comment ?
