We have the well known problem with our Samsung American style Fridge/Freezer, where behind the evaporator cover it ices up. We contacted Samsung last October, they sent a engineer to replace the faulty parts. However, the fault has returned. Having read the forum, I see that a repair kit is available, when clicking on the links, a complete kit featuring cover, sensors, cables etc does not show up? I have seen this kit from another seller – http://www.ukanfixit.co.uk/content/sams … sensor-kit
Is this what I need, or do you guys actually sell the complete kit?

There could be one of a number of faults causing this…have you tried the self-test function?
Push and hold the top two buttons, the display will eventually start to flash then go out altogether.
Make a note of which if any bars in the number segments are lit…if any are then this indicates a specific fault.

Sorry for the delayed reply clivejameson, I carried out the self-test as suggested, and it comes back all clear. Looking further into this problem, I see that the newer mods suggest a new sensor, with a longer length cable which allows it to be positioned in a new place, and a change to the fridge defrost tempreature.
