    hi guys this machine functions perfectly on all cycles until it gets to final spin.there is the usual distribute but then as it speeds up it dies off and restarts and repeats never gettingup to speed. i am aware of the triac problem on zanussi etc doyou guys know if its same with this whirpool, or of course anything else causing it. pressostat air chamber is clear..

    If it spins when empty of clothes, then it is probably the out of balance detection circuit stopping it from picking up speed. It may sound daft, but I have cured this sort of fault by just fitting a new belt

    Could be a loose tacho magnet. Or brushes worn
