Got a report of it clicking/banging during spin.
It may well be something caught in it, but seeing as I’ve not seen one of these Direct Drive machines before I thought I’d ask if anyone has come across them.

    Cheers

That’s exactly what I found and it had made a hell of a mess.
It must be a be a bit of a problem for them.
It was just over two year old and out of warranty and I told them to contact LG and look for something.
Now LG have contacted me and asked for a written report so they can decide what way, if any, to help the customer.
Hopefully they can get something out of them.

LG have an issue with heat from the dryer manifold causing the tub to disintegrate at the point where the manifold enters, this is often caused by the condensing duct at the rear blocking with fluff. Your fault however sounds like a bra wire or re likes stuck around the heater.
    Which model is it?
