TEKA DW 59 F1 no hot water

Hi looking for advice/assistance, my Teka dishwasher is not heating up the water, there are no fault codes or bleeps an engineer was called from a company which do a one off payment fee however he arrived with a new heater flow element but did not fit as he thought it was the PCB due to there being no fault codes displayed, the company are not willing to repair as the PCB is to expensive. The cycle works however no hot water and also the cycle takes far longer than normal now. Before I consider buying a new PCB anything else I should consider ?? thanks
