OK so the handbook says to talk to the service provider or the local electricty supplier but I would rather know what I am getting into before that. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a cpc240FFK that does this as well, no other perceptable fault and the manula just says call your dealer or electricity company. The yellow light only usually comes on if you go into “super” exra cooling but its then on steadily. power off/on resets the flashing light but somethings wrong?

The appliance may not be achieving defrost. Suggest you click on the red toolbox (REPAIRS@) and get an engineer out to it. This will need diagnosing.

The yellow light flashing on the CPC240FFK indicates that the defrost did not complete within one hour for 3 successive defrosts. This can occur if the door was accidently left open. The best course of action is to switch the appliance off, defrost it manually & switch it back on. If the light starts flashing again you’ll need an engineer to look at it.
