Customer just phoned with this so not been out to it yet.
Apparently fully integrated, when switched on any programme, pump runs for a few seconds and then machine cuts out, no lights appear on display at any time .
Any thoughts?
Jim.

I’m pretty sure the Control module (00641159) is the main suspect here.

Thanks Martin, looking at it on Thursday, are there likely to be any obvious signs of damage ?

Actually Jim from ones I have changed they don’t always show signs of damage as a rule. Hopefully yours will be burnt to a crisp and obvious…..fingers crossed!

Blown triac on pcb, its the far left, horizontal one.
Anyone any idea what this triac controls?

Looks like it goes direct to the two pin connection directly below so my guess is that it’s probably leads to the dispenser solenoid whatyamathingy?

Hmm, better than it being the water heater assy I suppose. 🙂
Are the dispensers prone to blowing triacs on these?

Not uncommon for sure.

Changed dispenser and pcb today, all is now fine.
One question though, the replacement dispenser 490472 did not have the same connectors as the original.
There is a connector to the bottom left of the old dispenser which I assume is for the low rinse aid indicator.
I fitted the new dispenser and taped the surplus plug safely, as customer uses Finish 5 -1 tablets anyway I am guessing/hoping that this will not be a problem. 🙂
