    Hi,

My drum will not spin, and the machine completely stops doing anything. The initial water injection happens, then a click on the timer, then nothing.
I’ve read the posts on here relating to this topic, but before I buy new carbon brushes could I check:-

I did a test cycle with no load in the machine. The wash cycles wouldnt work, but ‘gentle spin’ did.

I’m answering my own question here I think – does this point to the brushes, or is something else going on?

    thanks Paul 😕

There is really only one way to find out and that is to take the carbon brushes out and have a look at them before you order replacements.
