Hoping someone can help. Our Bosch WF2001 has started to get stuck when it reaches the spin cycle and is not draining. I have looked at other posts on this forum and have dismantled and cleaned out all hoses so can confirm that there are no blockages in any of the pipes or hoses and the impeller is free from debris. It doesn’t happen every wash. When it gets stuck you can hear the impeller spinning, but the pump doesn’t kick in. When pulling the machine out a few weeks ago after it had got stuck, the jarring as it was tipped back and forwards on its feet suddenly caused the pump to kick in. Now, whenever it gets stuck,if I tip it back a few inches and let it drop back to its feet, the bang sometimes gets the motor started. Is this a loose connection somewhere or is the pump on its way out; or could it be something else? Any thoughts gratefully received.

Check the impellor is not loose on its spindle, also check your waste outlet pipe is clear and your waste connection also…

    Hi

I’ve checked both the waste pipe and connection and also that the impellor isn’t loose on its spindle. All seems fine. Any other thoughts?

Intermittent fault on the pump. Only solution is to replace it

Do you think it worth spending money replacing the pump on a machine this old? How easy is it to replace the pump myself?

You can access it by tipping the machine back
