hi guys, customer has moved the fridge freezer and put back again, the light inside the fridge was working fine before(illuminates), now light is not on but fast freeze button near thermostat works fine, no sound coming from the motor but mains input seems ok, iv not tested it as im no expert with refrigeration just simple stat jobs etc, any idea’s before i recall?

That will be a ZSS7/5X then is it? 8)
To check to see if the stat is working or not is easy, link terminals 4 and 6, if the compressor starts then the stat is faulty. Part no 50117492004 (I think check it) If that does not work then you need to check the compressor and starter relay and capacitor (starter is 50223639001)

thanks for your help mal, i bridged them together and it worked fine i guessed prob would as it worked ok with fast freeze button pressed on, as strange and as confusing as it seems it works without the defective bulb? by trial and error, after the weeks iv had im not surprised and i dare not even think how this works out if the bulb is open circuit but hey its now working fine, maybe the thermostat is intermittent and the changing the settings of the dial put it right for now, its a friends appliance so it does not matter for now.
