    hi all,
i have a hoover dyn8164d L1-80 developed a problem get error code E03, so checked pump working fine pumping water out filter clean.
i also got advised to check the water level pipe so took it off cleaned it and refitted it.
still getting the same error code even though it is draining fine.
i can get hold of a new pcb board but Im unsure which one i need as apparently there are three!!!
can anyone advise which one i need or maybe something i haven’t already tried, many thanks

Check for poor heater insulation as that will throw up a random E03 error code. 😉

With a 500dcV insulation tester ( often referred to as a Megger). If the insulation is that bad on the heater then a regular 9volt multimeter will show it anyway. But likely as not low insulation will only show using a Megger. Anything lower than 40 megohms will give an E03 error.

Have you taken the pump/filter unit right off? Often coins (2p usually) can get stuck in the inlet (sump) hose and act like a valve. Well worth double checking.
