ParticipantHi can anyone help? Is there only one circuit board, or two? I am trying to buy a new circuit board but was told there are 2 – one at the top behind the displays and another ot the back at the bottom. Is that correct?

2 one behind the console panel and one at the back. These normally need programming as well

Thank you for making that clear. Can I buy these through this site?

Not too sure as I’m fairly new to the forum. Someone will answer that but make sure the problem is definitely the board. Lots of faults can be mistaken for module faults

Okay. Thank you.
When I look for this part I only see one item listed. Does that mean the parts are sold as one?August 19, 2013 at 9:13 pm #399696iadom

AFAIK ukwhitegoods will not supply modules etc for Indesit group products. There are such a vast number of variations, most of which need programming with a smart card and card reader or a company supplied PC.
The odd couple of pcb’s for Hotpoint machines in the Store are for the earlier WMA and WD machines, totally different to the Indesit made electronics in yours. :rolls:
Bear in mind wherever you buy a new pcb from it will almost certainly be non returnable.
You could Google for EMW Electronics, they may be your best option.
Might be worth telling us why you think you need a pcb in the first instance. 😉

Well I am trying to check the information I have been given by my mechanic who has quoted for 2 pcbs – that is the one at the top of the machine and the other at the bottom – £130 and £100 plus the eprom – so I wanted to know that this is correct?

That is the cost of those items although its rare to have to change both boards at the same time, what was the original fault?
NB. If both boards are faulty then I would strongly advise you put your money towards something better. 😉

🙂 Not sure what the fault is – waiting for the engineer to get back to me. I take your point about the cost. Thanks for your advice.

What I meant was, why did you send for someone in the first place, what was the machine doing or not doing?
