    Hi,

I’m having a few problems with my Hoover washing machine.
Two weeks ago it stripped working and had 2 flashing lights. As my husband is z plumber he wanted to fix it himself as he fixes boilers everyday.
We researched the 2 flashing lights and discovered that it may have been the water inlet valve, so we swapped the valve for a new one but it still didn’t work. My husband decided it must be the PCB – so he took the control board out and we could see where something had blown on it. We purchased a new Board, fitted it in and HEY PRESTO! The machine came back to life! It filled and went about its usual washing business untill the end of the cycle!
It stopped working and now won’t drain :eeek: and is flashing 3 lights. We have checked drain and hoses for blockage but they are all ok –
Can anyone offer any advice please? We thought se had solved it but we don’t want to keep buying new spare parts if we are barking up wrong tree. Any help would be amazing!

    Think you

Do an insulation test on the heater… If the drain and pump function is ok, the heater is usually the culprit

I would also do an insulation test on the pump and check for any signs of leakage around it
